Geometry Dash Alula puts you in control of the player during the ship phase, when you have to direct them to fly over spike-filled levels. The figure then moves on to the ball phase, during which the cube's gravity changes. The player is then propelled into the wave phase after finishing this phase, where they must fly between the pillars and cautiously fly around the revolving obstacles in the center. A brief cube stage then appears, laying the groundwork for the subsequent UFO level. The user controls the character by navigating between big blocks and columns in this stage.
In Geometry Dash Alula, the character keeps going to the spider stage by jumping over platforms and avoiding collisions with any obstacles. Next, there is a mixed train that has both robots and cubes. The robot and cube fly briefly on the train in between short phases. A spider that resembles the first spider is then found in the subsequent cube stage.
